To confirm your student status you will need to present your student ID or proof of enrollment at account opening. Student Checking is free of a monthly maintenance fee for up to 5 years while you remain a student. Based on your graduation or five-year anniversary, whichever comes first, your account will be converted to a fee based account. Consult your Bank of Tennessee representative to find the best account to fit your needs. Fees for overdrafts and other account related services still apply. The one “Uh-Oh” refund means that one overdraft charge will be automatically forgiven if your account has not had a refund within the last 12 months. *Available only in the United States.
