Debbie Richards is Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources for Bank of Tennessee. Richards is responsible for all Human Resource, Payroll and Benefit functions for Bank of Tennessee and Carter County Bank. She also serves as the Director of BT HR Services which provides Human Resource, Payroll and Benefit services to client banks. Debbie Richards joined the Bank in 2003 with more than 15 years HR and hospital administration experience. Richards is a graduate of East Tennessee State University (ETSU) and possesses the prestigious Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, provided by the National Society of Human Resources Management.

Debbie is a member of the National Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), Northeast Tennessee Society of Human Resource Management and the Tennessee Banker's Association's Human Resource Committee.

Originally from the Tri-Cities area, Richards currently resides in Fall Branch with her husband, Tim, and their family.
