Bank of Tennessee is proud to support the Tri-Cities community. The Community Reinvestment Committee provides the region with investment opportunities that enhance the lives of those within the area.

The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) requires each federal financial supervisory agency to use its authority when examining financial institutions to assess the institution's record. To meet the credit needs in its entire community, Bank of Tennessee does including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods with the operation of the institution.

Community Development Committee

In keeping with the above, Bank of Tennessee has created the Community Development Committee. This group establishes policies and procedures for Bank of Tennessee to maximize its reinvestments in our community through funding and services. The committee serves to enhance the Tri-Cities by providing a positive difference in the lives of the people in the community.

The Community Development Committee promotes the understanding of the needs of all members of the community to ensure appropriate community investment the Tri-Cities region.

The committee meets quarterly to review all applications received by the set deadlines. Bank of Tennessee chooses one corporate charity for major sponsorship annually. If you organization would like to be considered for this opportunity please complete the Community Development application.
