Bank of Tennessee advertising nets gold ADDY for The Tombras Group
Johnson City, TN March 10, 2010 –American Advertising Federation (AAF) Northeast Tennessee recently recognized The Tombras Group with a gold ADDY for their work on Bank of Tennessee’s 2009 advertising campaign.
“We’re proud to know our advertising is award winning,” said Roy L. Harmon, Jr, President and CEO. “The Tombras Group has been an excellent partner in our efforts to build brand recognition in the Tri-Cities area.”
AAF Northeast Tennessee awarded a gold ADDY to Tombras for their work with Bank of Tennessee in Mixed/Multiple Media – Consumer, Local. The campaign included newspaper, Bank of Tennessee website landing page, Internet banner ads, TV and radio ads.
“We’re honored to be the only financial institution in the Tri-Cities area to receive an award for the second year in a row,” said Cindy Cantrell, Bank of Tennessee Director of Marketing. “We were very pleased with our Shoes Campaign and the results it attained for the Bank. It was a popular campaign with employees and customers.”
AAF Northeast Tennessee received more than 227 professional entries and 52 student entries from ETSU. Twenty five percent of those entries received a silver or gold ADDY. Gold ADDY awards are forwarded to the AAF District 7 competition in Mobile, Ala.
The annual AAF ADDY Awards honor excellence in advertising throughout more than 200 local clubs. It is the nation’s largest advertising awards competition. AAF Northeast Tennessee is a member of District 7, which encompasses all local clubs within Alabama, Georgia, Southeast Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.
