Bank of Tennessee announces Yates promotion

Bank of Tennessee is proud to announce Jan Yates has recently accepted the position of Treasury Management Specialist. She is presently Senior Vice President for the Bank. In her new position, Yates will be responsible for the Bank’s treasury management products for businesses including product development, sales and compliance. She will work with other Relationship Managers as an integral part of their sales team. Previously located at the Med Tech office, her office will now be located in the bank’s Operations Center in the Northeast TN Business Park.

An Oak Ridge, TN native, Yates has been an employee of Bank of Tennessee for more than two years; totaling more than 30 years of overall banking experience. She is a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration. Yates has a Real Estate Affiliate Brokers license and a Series 6 and 63 certification.

Yates is a board member of the Johnson City Chamber of Commerce and Johnson City Country Club and a member of Eastern Eight Community Development and Johnson City Area United Way. She and her family currently reside in Johnson City, TN.
